I never write reviews- but this place was so good, it'd be a diservice not to. I was looking for something quick to eat before a meeting, and didn't want all of the fast food near by. Stopped in here on a whim based on Yelp reviews. Ordered the ceviche based on the recommendation from the owner, and it didn't disappoint. Probably the best ceviche I've ever had (ceviche mixto- you need to order)! Service was wonderful, quiet little place and family owned. Would 100% return when I'm back in the area. wonderful!

I hate to write reviews like this for small mom and pop operations but this place is NOT good. The owner who is the waiter, does not speak a word of English. So my friend and I had a hard time placing an order. To add insult to injury our waiter / owner got frustrated with us Bc we didn't speak spanish, he was impatient and didn't seem like he wanted to help us in an way...not even refill our waters. The food is mostly rice and beans and a small amount of meat. They will fill most of the plate with the sides and top it with some sort of meat. I will never go back and will try to avoid these type of places in the future.

The food was okay but the service was SO bad!! Never going back! There was a single man waiting tables and doing like a million things and he was just in such a bad mood and was rude on the phone and in person. The whole atmosphere was just terrible.

Wow! Delicious Peruvian food! Authentic and great service! I have been to this location a couple times and the good was delicious and fresh! I have tried many Peruvian Places, but the dishes here are marvelous! I had the anticuchos de corazon and they are prepared perfectly. The huanchaina sauce is the best I ever had. The lomo was delicious too! This is definitely my new Peruvian spot!

I came into this place and expected great service since it wasn't full, the food is phenomenal however the service is mediocre. The gentlemen attending us took forever to get our drinks, he served a lady that came after us her meal and drink before us that at that I wanted to walk right out. Luckily the ceviche came out and it was the only reason I stayed. It was good although a tad bit salty but it was quality seafood. My friend got the tallarin verde con bistek and it was excellent and I got the chicarron de pescado. My dish was a bit salty, I was quite upset the tartar sauce was out (it would of been nice for the gentlemen to make me aware of that) however he made up for it with this purple onion/tomato mixture. Overall really good food but don't expect quality service and that is the only reason it got a 3 star from me.

Had high hopes after reading the reviews but this place was just ok. Best thing we had was guacamole with tostones. The guacamole was by far the best I've ever had. Full of flavor but sadly the rest of the meal was a disappointment. My husband had the lamb and it was ok. I had fish with rice and beans. Overall my meal was mediocre and bland. Won't go back.

The most exquisite Peruvian experience by far... We had a Mixed Ceviche and Causa Limeña de Pollo... The ceviche was fresh and very well supplies of fish, shrimp, octopus and mussels. The Causa was very good as well. Then we had the Jalea. Which was more than enough for two. The customer service was exemplary .... My girl friend and I love Peruvian food so we can definitely judge. Oh and I almost forgot... The alfajores for desert are truly the best we have had! Make sure you go!

My friend Mike suggested this place because I told him I like ceviche. We stopped in here for lunch one day and it sure didn't disappoint!! Like other have said, the place was empty and we were greeted/ served by an older guy that I'm sure is the owner. He is very polite, professional and knows his ceviche!! It was a generous portion and tasted fantastic!! Damn, I just drooled on my keyboard reliving it!!

I found this place and because of the reviews I had high expectations. Boy was I wrong. The restaurant is supposedly Colombian and Peruvian, yet there are only 2 Colombian dishes on the menu. The food was ok although a bit greasy. One of the people that went with me wanted the grilled steak which on the menu it stated came with salad and fries. The waiter, which I think was the owner, kept insisting that it came with 2 sides and a salad. To our surprise he charged us $3 for the salad. The total for the check was $72 and some change. He did not bring back the change even though he had already charged tip on the check. Awful service and a rip off. I suggest La granja next door for Peruvian food.

Excellent food & great service!!! I always get the Lomo Saltado and it's the best from all the Peruvian places I've tried in the area and even other areas! The quality of the meat is good, it's tender and seasoned very well! My boyfriend tried the fried snapper tonight and it was very good!!! Not as seasoned as I would have liked but better than everywhere in the area and it's HUGE!!! Portions are great and happy to support a local "family" restaurant!

This place is fantastic! The food is incredible! The staff is limited to just mom and pop most days but they somehow manage to get everyone serviced in a reasonable manner. You may need to bring a translator if you don't speak Spanish but it will be worth the investment. We can't wait to return!

Not sure why there's not many reviews..... I'm guessing the average customer here isn't in my age / social group. The food was fantastic!! The fish was cooked perfectly and the ceviche was very fresh with great flavors. The guy singing through lunch was cool..... he was happy when our table took over and turned it into Karaoke! Haha. Def will be back soon.

Went to this establishment on a Thursday night. We were the only ones there. The food was wonderful and very reasonably priced. There was an older gentleman who appeared to be the owner/manager who took our orders. The mixed seafood ceviche was wonderful and spicy, seafood was fresh, sauce was delicious. Service was laid back, ambiance was casual, overall restaurant was great. The sangria left some to be desired... a strange, overly sweet mix, recommend ordering something else to drink.

Mouthwatering authentic Peruvian cuisine served in a quiet home style restaurant owned and operated by the nicest couple of lovebirds you will ever find. We love coming back and striking up a conversation with Ernesto and his lovely wife and premier chef, Claudia while they spoil us with their lovely dishes. Always prepared fresh, always delicious, this place is always a treat. Definitely a hidden gem.

The food in this restaurant is so delicious! Peruvian food has so much variety and blows many cuisines out of the water, This place is a must, things to try if you've never had this type of food before: Jalea mixta (deep fried seafood), Ceviche mixto (seafood and fish cooked in lime juice), Lomo saltado (strips of beef stir fried with onion and tomatoes) and that's just to start . You will not be disappointed when you come here.
